Every batch of Broth Capital’s bone broth is simmered slowly, using only organic, ethically sourced, and free-range British produce. We simmer beef broth over 16 hours, which gives the beef broth full of rich and bold flavour. We use various parts of the beef bones in our broths to get the optimum nutrition levels.

Gut Health

If your focus is on gut health then beef broth is for you. The beef bones contain glycine and type 3 collagen which are responsible for repairing and improving the gut lining.

Collagen

Beef bones in general contain more collagen than chicken bones, and in particular higher are the Type 1 and 3 collagen contents, which are curtail for blood vessels and skin.

Joint Health

Beef bone broth contains high level of collagen type 1 and 3 but very low levels of type 2. If you are looking to improve your joint health, we recommend our chicken broth as this contains more of the type 2 collagen, which may improve joint and cartilage health.

Sleep

If you want to improve your sleep and mood then beef bone broth is for you. The glycine found in beef may assists with serotonin levels - a hormone responsible for sleep/awake cycles.

Skin

The Type I and Type III collagen found in beef broth is responsible for skin's firmness, elasticity. It may also reduce the appearance of wrinkles.

Muscle Recovery

Bone broth is high in collagen, minerals and creatine, which helps with muscle recovery but we would recommend our chicken broth as even stronger recovery potion for its higher amino content.

Immune System

Both beef and chicken broths will support your immune system but in beef broth you will find amino acids and minerals, such as glycine, glutamine, magnesium, and zinc to support this function.

Minerals

The denser the bone the higher the mineral content. Beef bone broth is full of calcium, magnesium, and phosphorus. It also contains potassium, sodium, iron, zinc but in smaller quantities.
